Five-year-old Aliyah Masaku, who was attacked by three dogs in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, has died. Aliyah died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, on Wednesday after she was transferred from the Ikorodu General Hospital, where she was first admitted.

The medical team of the Lagos State Government, presently in Saudi Arabia to cater for the health needs of Lagos pilgrims, has warned them to avoid moving around in the sun, saying it is dangerous to their health because it can affect the blood system, dry out water in the body fast, cause headache, pains, weakness and dehydration.

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday said it would no longer allow indiscriminate parking of vehicles on the road networks across the state on the basis of queuing up for Premium Motor Spirit otherwise known as fuel, just as it threatened to sanction any erring filling stations and motorists who flout the directive.

The Corporate Social Responsibility and Brand’s Supervisor, IE, Adebimpe Akintola, said apart from Ajegunle, five other communities in the state were also beneficiaries of the gesture targeted at 6,000 residents. The Federal Capital Territory Administration ( FCDA ) has demolished the Caramelo Lounge which was located at Utako in Abuja for violating land use act . The demolition came barely three weeks after FCTA officials arrested 32 alleged strippers at Carmelo. The building is located at Plot 630 T.O.S Benson Crescent Utako The Managing Director of the club , Max Eze who said that the authority served them quit notice on Friday 10th May at 7:00pm . He added that to their surprise the FCDA mobilized their bulldozers, with police cordon around the building, and started pulling it down on Monday.
