KIRIKIRI ROAD WINS 3RD AJEGUNLE PEACE CUP TITLE

By Emmanuel Okogba Kirikiri road and Babani street had to decide who went home with the third Ajegunle Peace Cup trophy via penalties after they were inseparable for the duration of the game. The trucks parked at Johnson Street - nine of them paid 10000 naira each The Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) Kirikiri Branch who is one of the 46 unions currently affiliated with the Nigerian Labour Congress  (NLC)  has pointed accusing fingers to the community boys saying that they are fond of illegally passing unsuspecting trucks from the link bridge down to the end of the line and collect huge sums of money ranging from NGN60,000 - NGNG100,000 per truck. Weeks ago, a young man Onyekachi, died as a result of road congestion caused by the truck drivers insensitivity and traffic/surveillance officers carelessness and neglect.
