This road leads to Trademore mega city estate Lugbe. Off the airport road by voice of Nigeria junction. This area is supposed to be under AMAC; but I don’t think it’s on the AMAC map at all, safe for the fact that there is an AMAC office close to the area. @TrademoreEstateThank you for reading. By Seyi Anjorin Lugbe is one of the popular suburban settlements in the FCT, along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport road, in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) with more than 20 housing estates developed and still developing, spanning over 15kilometres on the Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua expressway. Since the introduction of the cashless policy in Nigeria and FCT, as a resident of Lugbe, it is safe not to run out of cash with the intention of getting the ATM to dispense cash, particular in an emergency period. A visit to Federal Housing Estate in Lugbe shows that there are only three banks namely Skye, Fidelity and Wema Banks that services the whole of the Lugbe environs until Shoprite Nigeria opened its Novare Gateway mall in Lugbe, housing just two ATM points from Zenith Bank. LAGOS GOVERNOR APPROVES NGN1.5B PENSION MONEY FOR LG RETIREES

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the release of N1.5billion intervention fund for the payment of outstanding gratuities and pension arrears of local government retirees in the state. Mr. Akintola Benson Oke, the State Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pension, who disclosed this today at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa Ikeja during the 2016 Ministerial Press Briefing of the Lagos... State Government to commemorate the first year anniversary of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration in Lagos State, added that the government has also approved the sum of N1.7billion being the balance of 142% pension arrears to the same categories of retirees.

"PRISON OFFICERS EXTORT MONEY FROM US AT THE TRAINING SCHOOL" - TRAINEES

By Stella Iyaji, Joshua Odeyemi (Abuja) & Eugene Agha Officers of the Nigeria Prison Service undergoing a training programme at its institution in Kirikiri Town, Lagos, have accused officials of the school of extortion in the guise of providing them with uniforms. About 408 personnel of the rank of Chief Superintendent of Prisons, drawn from commands across the country, are participating in a three-month course on development at the institution, Daily Trust on Sunday gathered. The programme is due to be concluded on November 15, it was gathered. Participants, however, alleged that the school had forced each of them to pay N37000 for ceremonial dress, belts and caps, items they claimed to posses.
