HON DIPO LAUNCHES A MONTH FREE BUS TRANSPORTATION SCHEME FOR THE EASTER SEASON.

Hon Dipo Olorunrinu member representing Amuwo Odofin has launched the FREE BUS TRANSPORTATION SCHEME (FBTS) for residents of his constituency, another initiative to help the people ease transportation cost and challenges during the Easter season for a month.

Hon Dipo said the free transport which have been deployed in Amuwo Odofin will cover major roads and bus stops in festac, mile 2, abule-ado, Maza-Maza and satellite. It is meant to assist commuters during this economic downtime especially during this Easter season.

"Everything I do for my people I do to help and use my office for their good. I have met some people who sometimes walk long distance to the bus stop to get to work and repeat it in the evening. At least the free transport will help save any little and make it extra." He said.

Honourable once again said the people have voted him in to solve problems which is why his office will continue to bring more ideas to solve these issues.

Youths of Umunze community of Anambra State has caught the general overseer of God of Light Ministry. FG SET TO BAN SALE OF ALCOHOL IN SMALL BOTTLES AND SACHET - SEE WHY

The Federal Government has issued directives targeted at phasing out the sale and consumption of alcohol in sachets and polyethylene terephthalate, PET, bottles. The goal is to reduce availability and curb abuse. Effective January 31 2021, producers of alcohol in sachets and small bottles are to reduce production by 50 per cent of capacity prior to January 2020. Mojisola Adeyeye, director-general of the National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, disclosed this in a statement. Adeyeye said uncontrolled access and availability of high concentration alcohol in sachet and small volume PET or glass bottles contribute to substance and alcohol abuse in Nigeria. She added that NAFDAC and the ministry of health have engaged major shareholders and have reached certain agreements. KIRIKIRI TOWN IS MOSTLY AFFECTED BY SHIP WRECKAGE - NAVY

The Nigerian Navy on Tuesday in Lagos raised alarm over the impending dangers shipwrecks posed on the Nigerian waters. The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Western Naval Command, Rear Adm. Oladele Daji, raised the alarm at a news conference held at the Base in Apapa, Lagos. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Correspondent who was part of the on-the-spot assessment team, saw the dangers posed by the shipwrecks on the Lagos-Badagry Waters.
