CAMPAIGN PROMISES NOT FULFILLED AFTER ONE YEAR?: PDP'S HON OGHENE EMMA EGOH REPLIES CONSTITUENTS

Hallowed green chamber member representing Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Hon. Oghene Emma Egoh has replied constituents regarding his campaign promises and fulfillment saying that he has done a handful of projects since he was voted into the Federal House of Representatives.

This reply came three days after the publication titled " PDP'S HON. OGHENE EMMA EGOH'S CAMPAIGN PROMISES - NOT ONE FULFILLED AFTER ONE YEAR?" written by U.D. Okechukwu.

The reply statement was issued through his personal assistant, Oghenero Felix Idise. He mentioned that a handful of projects has been done ranging from women empowerment to borehole and already passed bills both awaiting and awarded. He also did not fail to insight former APC'S  Hon. Ganiyu Tunji Olukolu who represented Amuwo Odofin at the Federal House of Representative, uttering that, he did not do what Hon. Egoh has done all the while in the office for eight years.

"Thank God Hon. Oghene Emma Egoh emerged the winner at the polls to represent Amuwo Odofin  Federal Constituency in the Hallowed green chamber. Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in on May 29th while Legislators were sworn in on June 19th. On a Friday to be precise. We haven't spent a year in office.

Hon. Egoh's very first motion on the floor of the house barely three weeks into plenary session for the 8th National Assembly was on improving the decaying infrastructure in Amuwo Odofin.

Talking about the reduction of university school fees. I stand to be corrected that none of such was promised during campaign. We only drew attention to the plight of students due to the failure government to be responsive in the area of bursary payment using Lagos State University LASU as a case study. Review of school fees lies solely in the hands of the schools governing council.

The greatest challenge of the market people in ASPAMDA, trade fair is bad road. We were there to sample their needs. Hon. Egoh sponsored a motion on the floor of the house concerning the poor state of roads in Amuwo odofin with emphasis on Dillion road and ASPAMDA market roads. Allocations has been made in the 2016 budget for both roads. That work ha not commenced on Dillion road is no fault of ours.

We have concluded our empowerment program where mothers were the highest beneficiaries because they have been sidelined all the while. Amuwo Odofin youths will benefit from the bill "private investment bill" sponsored by Hon. Egoh which will bring in foreign investors into the country. As  Hon. Egoh is the anchor of the bill, Amuwo Odofin will benefit immensely.

The contractor of Hon. Egoh's borehole project which has just commenced resides in Kirikiri town.

It is no fault of Hon. Oghene Emma Egoh that there is erratic power supply in Amuwo Odofin, it is a nationwide generic scourge.

Let us not forget that the person who formerly represented Amuwo Odofin in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ganiyu Tunji Olukolu of APC never in eight years did what Hon. Egoh has done in one year and that is why Amuwo Odifin is this bad.

WORLD'S OLDEST MAN DIES AT 116 IN SOUTH AFRICA

Fredie Blom's identity documents showed he was born in Eastern Cape province in May 1904, although that was never verified by Guinness World Records.
