COMMUNITIES IN DELTA STATE, NIGERIA PROTEST MILITARIZATION AND MARGINALIZATION

Communities in Burutu Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State on Wednesday protested militarization and marginalisation of their communities.
Demanding that Hydro-Drive, the company contracted to clear the oil spill should vacate their communities so that local contractors from their community can handle the project.

As at the time of filing in this report, there is an ongoing protest at the headquarters of Hydro-Drive on 17, Wharf Road, Apapa, Lagos.
