A number of rooftop spaces in downtown Guangzhou have been transformed into basketball and football courts recently, as the southeastern city explores efficient ways to provide more sporting facilities for its urban dwellers.
Conveniently located and with low permit fees, these mid-air courts have turned out very popular among local sports enthusiasts.
