HON. AKEEM BELLO PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO FRSC WHARF UNIT COMMAND

Hon Akeem Bello paid a courtesy visit to office of Federal Road Safety Corps Wharf Unit command today 21st June 2016. The office is located just after descending the Kirikiri link bridge, Kirikiri town Lagos.
Earlier, the Unit Commander ACC. Olu Olumotanmi reiterated the long standing good relationship of the commission with the community and solicited for more support from the Minority Leader and his constituents.

The Minority Leader Lagos State House Of Assembly Hon Akeem Bello commended the significant achievements recorded by the commission in reducing the rate of accidents in the country and promised that his administration would do everything possible to support the commission.




 

During the visit, the Minority Leader was taken round the commission to inspect the facility and the equipment's in place.

2 MISSING IN BOULDER COMMUNITY, COLORADO - 985 HOMES DESTROYED

Two people are still missing and feared dead after a wildfire roared through two towns in Boulder County, Colorado last Thursday and destroyed nearly 1,000 homes, authorities said on Sunday. One person who had been reported as missing on Saturday was accounted for and was not harmed. Wind gusts on Thursday in excess of 100 mph (160 kph) worsened the fire's spread. By U. D Okechukwu This picture shows the aerial    view of some parts of Kirikiri town especially Mosheshe Industrial estate, Cardoso close and Obollo Crescent. It shows you one of the secondary schools names Great Trinity College owned by Henry and Henry Group then you can see the big tank farms owned by Index Petrolube, Swift Oil and Techno Oil. If you look closely, you will see the truck parks and the river behind where ship loaded with Oil product dock to transfer into the tanks. You will also see some houses that are very close to the tank farms. This picture was taken in 2015. Since then, the landscape has changed dangerously. More lands have been bought and used for truck parks, some buildings have been demolished. The area is now condensed and    overpopulated.  Thank you for reading. Kindly share also.

6 CLASSROOMS COMPLETED IN SATELLITE TOWN JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Six classrooms has been completed and delivered to Satellite Town Junior Secondary School, Lagos. The project started on the 19th of November, 2021 where Hon. Oghene Emma Egoh layed the first blocks. Two months later, on the 14th of January 2022, the project has been completed. The member representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency in the Federal House of Representative, Hon. Egoh through his faceboook page said as he expressed his joy after the project has been completed: "I layed the blocks for a new block of 6 classrooms at satellite town junior secondary school.
