Brigante's father immediately rushed to his friends house to tell him about what he had heard from is wife and both boys. He did not tell Punto or Brigante nor his wife where he was headed.
Brigantes' father's friend was at the farm, so said his wife which he met at home. The road to the farm was described to him by his wife, he too rushed there. Brigante's father was determined to obtain advise from his friend who was known in that town as the wisest man. He even held a title from the traditional ruler to that effect - Okpolooblongata1.
Brigante's father walked several miles. He was tired and he decided to rest at the road side. He sat on a fallen tree. Just where he sat, something hit him hard on his waist. he shouted 'chei'.
"Who is that, Who is there, Who hit me?" he said as he turned around. He looked at every corner where he sat but he found nothing. He became scared and hurriedly continued his journey to his friends farm.
As he held his waist in tiredness, he found okpolooblongata1 carrying a pack of firewood on his head. He had just finish fetching firewood and was on his way home.
"Dangwurugu, what is the problem, what is chasing you. Is your house on fire?" he asked as he dropped his firewood on the ground.
"My friend, my house is actually on fire but on a golden fire. Something weird has happened and I need your advise right away" Dangwurugu replied.
What are you actually talking about my friend. Stop speaking in parables and go straight to the point. My wife awaits me at home" Okpolooblongata1 uttered as he picked up his firewood and lodged them on his head.
"I think this issue will be best discussed at home. Lets get home and I will tell you" Dangwurugu spoke to his friend and walked beside him without saying another word... to be continued next week.
