COMMUNITY WAR: PEACE LIKELY TO RETURN

Peace is likely to return to the embattled house of the CDA2 Youth [Owode Ijere Youth Forum] which has been in fiasco since June 2015.

A reliable source revealed that there has been a general meeting among the entire three CDA Youth bodies in a bid to put an end to the youth crisis that have affected a wing of the body and this meeting may yield success which will enable them continue collecting tolls from trucks and other community odd jobs.

The source further disclosed that a news CDA2 Youth President [Owode Ijere Youth Forum] may emerge and be appointed by the general house to take over the affairs of the affected wing and the new president may be picked from CDA1 [Kirikiri Youth Forum].

20 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS CELEBRATE COMMUNITY DAY - LAGOS AT 50

HIGH SUICIDE RATE: GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE TO GET PREVENTION NET INSTALLED

By Madeline Holcombe, CNN The Golden Gate Bridge has a problem: horrifyingly high suicide rates. The community has a solution: a net covering the perimeter of the bridge. It sounds like a simple response to a complex problem, but the barrier is a big task. In May, crews will begin to erect fencing along the approaches and tower legs, but that deterrent is only temporary. From there, workers will take careful measurements to begin installing a net that extends 20 feet out along both sides of the 1.7 mile long bridge. The installation will begin in 2018 and the Golden Gate Bridge, Transportation and Highway District expects construction to be completed in 2021. And this isn't your average net. It will be constructed from stainless steel -- light enough to be inconspicuous, but strong enough to save lives. COMMUNITY CRISIS: ARMY TROOPS, POLICE READY FOR ANY VICIOUS MOVE FROM THE COMMUNITY BOYS

The Army troops have confirmed readiness for any form of clash between the two factions of the Owode-Ijere Youth Forum [CDA2 Youths] saying that such acts will not be tolerated. Speaking with the troops head, it was clear that they had slight knowledge of the incident beforehand according to de-briefing by both sides of the fighting youths and they had tried to foster conflict resolution terms before the clash turned bloody.
