DIAMOND BANK EMPLOYED MORE KIRIKIRI TOWN YOUTHS THAN OIL DEPOTS

Financial company, Diamond bank PLC, Kirikiri town branch employed more youths of Kirikiri town than some oil depots  - Kirikiri news media reports.

During a courtesy visit to the bank branch at Karimu Street just beside the Nigeria Prison Service gate, observation of familiar faces of residents filled the premises from outside to inside making different forms of transactions.

Most fascinating of all is that a handfull of the people who work there reside in Kirikiri town and they are youths, especially in the customer care unit and operations unit  of the bank branch. Diamond Bank employed over 4 youths from Kirikiri town community. All of them work in the office and handle professional aspects of the bank branch.

However, we may not be able to compare staff recruitment of oil depots in Kirikiri town to banks but youths who were offered employments with the depot from Kirikiri town do not handle professional aspects of the depot operations.

Youths of Kirikiri town daily wallow in unemployment yet manufacturing industries, oil depots, banks, and other service oriented companies have the capacity to increase their staff strength and employ. There are several qualified youths in Kirikiri town ready for active service.

One advantage of Employing a resident of the community is that it saves the company finances such as transport allowance. It also ensures and encourages  punctuality among employees and many other advantages therein.
