Residents of Kirikiri town have said that Dillion Street would have been interlocked to avoid degradation in the near future. This report was obtained when Kirikiri News Media took to the streets to quiz several residents.

Listening to their opinions on the Dillioin road construction, here is what we got;
"There is nothing like "what if the road remained like that or thank God it has been constructed", the fact is that asphalt road in Nigeria isn't durable. They would have interlocked the road" a resident uttered.

"Look, interlocking stones for this road is the best since heavy duty vehicles pass this road. I am certain that the road will be durable if interlocked" another resident expressed.

What were the contractors thinking? how can they make this road using asphalt? It will spoil before next year ending. bet me!" ma resident assured to Kirikiri News Media.

"Sincerely, I thought interlocking would be their first choice for Dillion road but I was wrong" a resident sobbed.

In retrospect, nine years ago, this road was constructed using asphalt and it lasted only for about nineteen months and have been lying in a bad condition until its recent construction.

However, there was only a single resident who through this opinion poll expected asphalt on Dillion road.
here is what she said;

"Well, what is the difference between asphalt and interlocking.Asphalt is better. All I know is that road is road. But please can I ask a question, what is asphalt?"
