“I BROUGHT THE POLICE STATION TO KIRIKIRI TOWN” - HON. LAZIMBA (1951-2016)

The death of Nze Hon. Patrick Nnodumele Ezeonyilimba popularly known as Lazimba has been announced by the family members and burial arrangements has been scheduled for April 1st 2016.
The wake keep will hold on 24th march at Magbesa Street by 5pm

Before his death Nze Hon. Patrick Nnodumele Ezeonyilimba was a former Councilor from 1993-1995. He was also an active member of The Kirikiri Community Development Association. His contributions as an elder and stakeholder in Kirikiri town was gigantic.

The present Kirikiri town police station which used to be a health center in the 90’s was transformed, during his time and was one of his achievements as councilor among others such as early development and welfare. He was enthusiastic about security of residents that he, single highhandedly, brought in policemen from Trinity police station to resume operations in Kirikiri town as there was no police station in the area at that time while crime rates increased in his ward. The station however, still stands and has become a Divisional headquarters.

His death which occurred on 31st of January, 2016 came as a shock to the entire populace of Kirikiri town and abroad. He was described as a man of pedigree. A man who was precise and straightforward.

He died at the age of 65 and he is survived by children, brothers, grandchildren and relatives.

He will be missed on earth and in the hearts of people as he is indeed promoted to glory.
