The Annual Masquerade festival comes up once in a year in  Ubakala community, Umuahia South, Abia state

As we all know that every community has its own culture that it is known for. However, the AMUZU NLOJI people are know for their Ekpo festival.






During the course of the event, there will be creative cultural displays, fanfest, dance and entertainment.These are the highlights of the day.

The MASQUERADE will proceed to Apumiri for its market outing & tomorrow 31 of March 2022 will be the main day of the event which will be staged at Ahia ORIEGBA AMUZU community

16 YEAR OLD BOY FOUND DEAD IN A POOL AT FESTAC TOWN COMMUNITY

By Victor Gbonegun A cloud of confusion still trails the circumstances surrounding the untimely death of a sixteen-year-old boy, Ezekiel Chukwu in FESTAC town, Lagos State, as police authorities are yet to unearth the cause of his death. Chukwu had disappeared mysteriously on the evening of Sunday, July 7, from 41 Road FESTAC, close to the local government secretariat. According to The Guardian’s investigation, Chukwu, a Catholic altar server in one of the popular church at 41 Road, had attended the first and second services in the morning and returned home. He left home later in the evening to return for a special programme at the church but his lifeless body with blood dripping from his mouth and nose was found beside a pool in a club along 21 Road, FESTAC town, the next day, July 8. WORLD'S OLDEST MAN DIES AT 116 IN SOUTH AFRICA

                   Fredie Blom - seen here on his 116th birthday - said there was no special secret to his longevity A South African who was thought to be the oldest man in the world has died at the age of 116. Fredie Blom's identity documents showed he was born in Eastern Cape province in May 1904, although that was never verified by Guinness World Records. When he was a teenager, his entire family was wiped out by the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. He went on to survive two world wars and apartheid. Mr Blom told the BBC in 2018 that there was no special secret to his longevity . "There's only one thing - it's the man above [God]. He's got all the power. I have nothing. I can drop over any time but He holds me," he said.
