20 YEARS FRIENDSHIP: "WE HAVE NEVER QUARRELED OVER ANYTHING"

There is a saying that two friends can be friends for two years but ten friends cannot be friends for two years. 

Now for these three guys such saying may have some deficiency in the sense that we may need to make an adjustment.

Three friends can be friends for three years but 30 friends cannot be friends for 3 years. 

Apparently, there seems to be an atom of truth as these three friends were more than 30 boys in one clique before time reduced them to three.

Sunny koko, Puppy, and Biggy (not real names)  has been friends for over 20 years. Since they were 8 years old and they have never quarreled even over a babe.

One of the three friends who spoke openly in a discussion said that they have never quarreled over anything. Also a source who claimed anonymity disclosed that he has know them since they were kids and they always moved together.

By U. D Okechukwu This picture shows the aerial    view of some parts of Kirikiri town especially Mosheshe Industrial estate, Cardoso close and Obollo Crescent. It shows you one of the secondary schools names Great Trinity College owned by Henry and Henry Group then you can see the big tank farms owned by Index Petrolube, Swift Oil and Techno Oil. If you look closely, you will see the truck parks and the river behind where ship loaded with Oil product dock to transfer into the tanks. You will also see some houses that are very close to the tank farms. This picture was taken in 2015. Since then, the landscape has changed dangerously. NEW NOTE: BUHARI APPROVES COLLECTION OF N200 OLD NOTE TILL 10th APRIL, 2023

Breaking By Demola Ojo All existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points, he said. Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria to allow the old 200 Naira notes remain legal tender until April 10, 2023, in order to improve  naira circulation in the country and ease pains experienced by Nigerians due to a currency redesign policy. In the Thursday morning address, he expressed his sympathy with citizens over difficulties caused by the implementation of new monetary policies. To give succour to the citizenry he said, “I have given approval to the CBN that the old N200 bank notes be released back into circulation and that it should also be allowed to circulate as legal tender with the new N200, N500, and N1000 banknotes for 60 days from February 10, 2023 to April 10 2023 when the old N200 notes ceases to be legal tender. “In line with Section 20(3) of the CBN Act 2007, all existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain red...

STOLEN TRANSFORMER: “NO TRANSFORMER FOR KIRIKIRI TOWN IN EKEDC OFFICE”

An official of EKEDC has said that there is not transformer apportioned to KIRIKIRI town by the Local Council in their custody at their office. The official in a conversation with KIRIKIRI News media said that the office is not aware that the transformer sitting at Shokumbi street is no longer there. In a concerned bid to arrest the situation, The official directed the community to question the Local council authorities concerning the Transformers which was given to the community and who they were handed over to inside the community. This missing transformer has kept some families in darkness as the load which causes trip off is too heavy for the transformer sitting at Otun Street Junction. More details later….. RESIDENTS IN YOBE CONVERT MOSQUITO TREATED NETS TO FISHING NETS

The Yobe Primary Healthcare Management Agency says residents of the state have converted mosquito treated nets for malaria protection to fishing nets. The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Hauwa Goni disclosed this during an advocacy visit to Yobe Islamic Centre, on Thursday in Damaturu. Goni, who spoke through Alhaji Dauda Bukar, the Director, Primary Healthcare, in the agency, said while government and development partners acquired and distributed the nets free of charge, some beneficiaries are using them as fishing nets. The secretary also said some other residents use them as shield to nursery trees and even nets in football goal posts. She said the campaign was designed to engage religious organizations so as to get a larger population from the adherents involved in the prevention of malaria in the communities.
