I HAVE MOVED TO ABUJA TINUBU TELLS ATIKU

The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, says he has relocated from Lagos to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.


Tinubu disclosed this during his brief meeting with his counterpart from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abuja.


Both presidential candidates met at the private wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja yesterday.

The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and a former PDP presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatudeen were at the airport when Tinubu and Atiku met.


While Tinubu was heading to Jos, Plateau State, to flag-off his presidential campaign, Atiku was heading to Lagos.During the meeting, both presidential candidates exchanged pleasantries.


The former Vice President asked if Tinubju was returning to his State, but the latter said he has relocated to to Abuja.

The former vice president asked, “Are you going to Lagos?”

Responding, Tinubu said, “I have moved to Abuja.”

FCT INDIGENTS COMMUNITIES BLOCKS ABUJA AIRPORT ROAD

LASSA FEVER KILLS 14 PEOPLE ACROSS COMMUNITIES IN NIGERIA

By Kolade Adeyemi, Kano; Okungbowa Aiwerie, Asaba; Ernest Nwokolo, Abeokuta and Sunny Nwankwo, Umuahia The Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) on Wednesday said 82 cases of Lassa fever, including 14 deaths, have been confirmed from seven states. They are Ondo, Edo, Ebonyi, Taraba, Plateau, Bauchi and Ogun. Two other states, Kano and Delta, yesterday confirmed four deaths from the virus. Two doctors and a patient died in Kano; a single mother died in Delta. According to the latest figures from the NCDC in its Lassa fever Situation Report (Epi Week 02: 6th – 12th January 2020), 255 suspected cases were recorded. According to a summary of the current weekly indicators, the number of new confirmed cases rose from 18 in Week 1, 2020 to 64 in Week 2, out of which 12 deaths were recorded from 158 suspected cases. The cases were with a Case Fatality Ratio (CFR) of 18.8 per cent in 12 Local Government Areas of Ondo, Edo, Ebonyi, Taraba, Plateau, Bauchi and Ogun states. ...
