ADALOKO COMMUNITY GETS NEW BOREHOLE FROM ERICA's ELITES

By Doofan Ben-Aondof

To commemorate the 28th birthday of Erica Nlewedim, an ex-housemate of Big Brother Naija Season 5, lockdown edition on Sunday, her huge fan base, who aptly call themselves ‘The Elites’, came together and funded the construction of a bore hole in a Lagos community.

Following the completion of the project, residents of Adaloko community, now have access to clean water, something that was non-existent and was never provided by the state government.

This won’t be the first time Erica’s fan base will put smiles on the faces of the less privileged on her behalf.

Last year during her 27th birthday, her fans offered a lucky student scholarship worth N10 million naira.

The scholarship included primary, secondary, and higher education to any private university of the student’s choice.

The lucky student was chosen from a motherless baby’s home.

The fans also donated N891,000 to Erica’s alma mater, Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja, to pay the West Africa Examination Council and the National Examination Council registration fees for 54 students.
