MASSIVE HOLE AT EKORO JUNCTION, ABULE EGBA COMMUNITY

This is Ekoro junction at Ekoro Rd, Abule Egba, Lagos State under Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.

There is a Big hole sighted along the road, this is a death trap to both pedestrian and motorists plying this road.

The hole was caused as a result of erosion. It has been there for sometime now and it's getting bigger day by day.


The Lagos State Government should kindly take appropriate steps now before we start loosing lives and properties. School children passes this road and most times traffic grid lock also occur, where motorist struggle to use the road as alternative route.

Community members are appealing to the executive chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA Dr. Augustine Arogundade, to take a necessary step before it is too late.

FEMA CONFIRMS THAT FLOOD WASHED MAN AWAY IN LUGBE COMMUNITY

By Annie Nwosu The FCT Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has warned FCT residents to avoid flooded areas to avert the dangers of becoming victims of flood. The Director-General of FEMA, Alhaji Idriss Abbas, gave the warning in a statement on Sunday, NAN reports. Abbas said most of the deaths recorded in the past from flood in the FCT were as a result of non-compliance to instructions and early warnings. He also emphasized the need for residents to adhere strictly to instructions and early warnings from relevant authorities. Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria to allow the old 200 Naira notes remain legal tender until April 10, 2023, in order to improve  naira circulation in the country and ease pains experienced by Nigerians due to a currency redesign policy. In the Thursday morning address, he expressed his sympathy with citizens over difficulties caused by the implementation of new monetary policies. Tradition demands that Aunt must have sex with niece's groom as potency test.

In Uganda, according to the custom of the Banyankole community tribe, the aunt of the bride must have sex with the groom as a "potency test", and furthermore, has to test the bride's virginity, when the couple wants to get married. Some traditions assert that the husband would first have sex with the aunt before proceeding to have it with the bride.
