St. Joseph Catholic Church Kirikiri town, Lagos which is one of the 171 Parishes under the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos has organized a send-forth service for Rev. Fr. Joseph Kioko.

The service was attended by other ministers and parish priest. Members of the church says he will be missed because of his loving nature and spiritual confidence.

Rev. Fr. Joseph Kioko however, made some outstanding achievements as the parish priest that made headlines. such as;

Rev. Fr. Joseph Kioko presenting the 2014 ABAM CUP to the captain of the St. Joseph Catholic Church football team Ikechukwu Udeaba who scored the two goals of the match. He won the award for the Best Player of the competition.
1. St Joseph Catholic Church in a fierce football match lashes St. Matthew Catholic Church Amukoko, Lagos 2 – 0 to clinch the prestigious Arch. Bishop Adewale Martin Cup. The match was held at the Prison Barracks stadium in Kirikiri town. A Handsome cash prize of NGN 300,000 was attached to the Trophy in 2014.

2. In 2014, The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) of St. Joseph Catholic Church lobbied a whopping sum of NGN 600,000 in their annual youth program aimed at promoting the Nigerian culture and fund raising for a cultural costume the organization intends to purchase.

When speaking to Kirikiri News Media (Now known as Global Community Reporters), the Kenyan parish priest Rev. Fr. Kioko commended the youth on their cultural day event and encouraged them to uphold their culture strongly.

3. Rev. Father Joseph Kioko of St. Joseph Parish, thanked the former PDP lawmaker representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency in the Lagos State House of Representatives Hon. Akeem Bello for his generosity of spirit, stressing that the bus donated to the church would go a long way in helping the church in propagating the Gospel of God in 2016.

These are not the only achievements and records set by Rev. Father Joseph Kioko. However, there are so many others. Members of the church appreciates his wonderful years of service and hope he visits them often for more blessings.
