TRUCK CRUSHES HEAD OF SCHOOL STUDENT IN ANI COMMUNITY

A female student of Community Secondary School, Adazi-Ani, Anambra State, who was sent out of school for not paying school fees, was on Monday, crushed to death by a truck.


A Facebook user identified as Valentine Kenechukwu has taken to the social networking site and posted some graphic photos and shocking story of a young schoolgirl who was crushed to death after she was sent off from school because of her fees.

The poster who shared the photos wrote;

"Just in...oh my God!! This young girl a student of community high skul Adazi.. met his untimely death this morning wen a trailer belonging to coca cola company lost control and ran into her at 9.00 junction Adazi-Ani.... may the soul of this innocent girl rest in peace... Amen.... and to his parents & family may God give u the fortitude to bear the loss Amen."

While speaking to a correspondent, an eyewitness, Abuchi Okwara, said that the JSS2 pupil, whose name was given as Chinyere, was sent out by the school’ s authorities.

“They were three that were sent out of the school for not paying their school fees. But Chinyere was the one that was killed by the truck. The incident took place at about 9am near the school.

“It was while they were heading home that she was killed while others escaped by a whisker. The vehicle sever her head from her body,” Okwara said.
The truck was said to have lost control as a result of brake failure.

Calls and text message to the school’s principal, Mrs Edith Mojeke, were neither picked nor replied to.

The mobile phone of the Commissioner for Education in the state, Prof. Kate Omenugha, rang out.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Nkeiru Nwode, said, “Our men are on ground and they know what to do.”

Fredie Blom's identity documents showed he was born in Eastern Cape province in May 1904, although that was never verified by Guinness World Records. When he was a teenager, his entire family was wiped out by the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. He went on to survive two world wars and apartheid.
