"HON. AKEEM BELLO INSPECTS ONGOING ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN DILLION STREET.
In fulfillment of the promise by Hon Akeem Bello during his last election campaign to deliver more accessible inner road in his constituency with the support of Ministry of works especially Dillion road, the rehabilitation of the popular Dillion Street in Oriade Local Government Area Kirikiri is under construction and shall be completed very soon.
Hon Bello Akeem, however, urged the contractor to speed up the work before moving to the other because of the condition of the road and challenges residents faced whenever it rained. Hon Akeem Bello was so excited about this construction after long years of neglect.“We know it is not easy but the faster the better. Construction does not go well in this weather but whenever it rains, it is a trouble for us,’’ he added. The road had been bad for a very long time and had affected the residents of Kirikiri and its environs a great deal. “Actually, it is a good development. It is a government of change and we have seen the change. “The roads have been bad for a long time but the government decided to give it a face lift."
