RESEARCH: OCTOPUS D.N.A MAY BE FROM OUT OF THIS WORLD

The octopus DNA may not be from this world, according to a new study published in the journal Nature.
The study reveals that octopuses have a genome that yields an unprecedented level of complexity, composed of 33,000 protein-coding genes, which is far beyond the number that can be found in a human being, and cannot be compared to any other animal on this planet.
