"Very soon, our school will be the best in the local government. I am happy that the state has remembered us. The buildings are so weak.  Before the demolition, we lost so many students because of poor infrastructures of the school. Although as the demolition exercise is ongoing, some students are still being taught in the six classrooms built by the L.G last year" the head teacher spoke to Kirikiri News Media.

However, residents and former students of the school suggested lately that the ancient monument would have been kept as a reminder of the school's aged existence or perhaps used as a museum.
