HISTORIC CHURCH IN NEW YORK CONSUMED BY FIRE

A historic church in ‪Manhattan‬, New York City, was destroyed in a raging fire on Sunday.

The fire at....
the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava started in the evening just hours after its Orthodox worshippers celebrated Easter.
Plumes of smoke were seen billowing into the city's skyline.

Authorities didn't disclose the cause of the fire, which destroyed the church's roof.

The church was built in the early 1850s and was designated a city landmark in 1968.
