Malaysia was hit by more floods on Sunday, causing thousands to evacuate. Over 125,000 people have been affected by heavy rains and floods in Malaysia in the last two weeks, the National Disaster Management Agency said.

Floods are common on the eastern coast of Malaysia during the annual monsoon season between October and March, but unusually heavy rainfall that started on December 17 has displaced thousands and strained emergency services.

WHO STOLE THE TRANSFORMER AT SHOKUMBI STREET JUNCTION?

Presently, If it is about the light, we have it but it is just that the load on this transformer sitting at the junction of Otun street is massive. It causes the light to trip off almost every time. Ajanlekoko, Otun, Fakande, Tariah, part of Karimu, Imam Busari, Shokumbi and one lane on Shokumbi street are all connected to this small transformer.” An aggrieved resident spoke to Kirikiri News Media. When power transformers are damaged beyond repair, installation of new ones are done.
