SOME MALAYSIAN COMMUNITIES HIT BY FLOOD - OVER 125,000 PEOPLE AFFECTED


Malaysia was hit by more floods on Sunday, causing thousands to evacuate. Over 125,000 people have been affected by heavy rains and floods in Malaysia in the last two weeks, the National Disaster Management Agency said.

Floods are common on the eastern coast of Malaysia during the annual monsoon season between October and March, but unusually heavy rainfall that started on December 17 has displaced thousands and strained emergency services.
